What is FS blue hair lotion?

According to the product sheet, it is a lotion designed for fine hair, enriched with nettle extract and provitamin B5. It comes in a 200 ml bottle, and the sheet specifies that it is suitable for adults. In our shop it sits among the hair care products, between washing and styling.

Two ingredients are worth a quick word. Provitamin B5 often appears on labels as panthenol: a very common ingredient in hair cosmetics, valued for the way it leaves hair feeling. How to use it

A hair lotion is worked into the scalp rather than the lengths. That is exactly how our druggist recommends it: applied to the scalp, for a moment of comfort at the roots.

• Wash your hair with your usual shampoo, rinse, then gently pat it dry with a towel.
• Part your hair in several sections and apply a little lotion directly to the roots, section by section.
• Massage with your fingertips in small circular movements, without scratching with your nails.
• Leave it on or rinse it out as indicated on the packaging, then style as usual. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for quantity and frequency.

Habits that go with it

• Rinse with lukewarm rather than very hot water.
• Set your hairdryer to a moderate temperature and keep it well away from your head.
• If you wash your hair often, choose a mild shampoo.
• Avoid tight hair ties, which pull on fine hair at the roots.

Good to know. The product sheet states that this lotion is suitable for adults, so ask for advice before using it on a child. For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes; if it happens, rinse thoroughly with clean water. If your skin is reactive, try it on a small area first.
