Argiletz organic mint toothpaste: the classic, gently done

In most bathrooms, the choice of toothpaste flavour is a foregone conclusion: mint. The scent is so closely linked with a clean mouth that we hardly stop to ask why. Argiletz organic mint toothpaste offers a gentle take on this great classic, with a white clay base.

What is in this toothpaste

According to the product sheet (see the documentation tab), it is made with white clay, described as rich in trace elements, and delicately flavoured with mint essences for a gentle feeling of freshness. The tube holds 75 ml, and its name includes the word "bio" (organic).

White clay, often called kaolin, is one of the gentlest clays used in cosmetics. Mineral and very fine, it serves here as the base of the toothpaste.

Why does mint feel fresh?

Mints are aromatic plants of the Lamiaceae family and have been grown since antiquity for their scent. Several of them, such as peppermint, contain menthol. This molecule acts on the receptors in the mouth and skin that detect cool temperatures: the temperature itself does not change, but the feeling of freshness is very real. That is why a menthol toothpaste leaves your mouth feeling "clean" after brushing.

Tube or gel: which format?

• The 75 ml Argiletz tube is handy for one person, for a travel wash bag or for trying a new flavour.
• Naturado mint toothpaste gel, in a 300 ml size, suits family use. Its product sheet describes it as cleaning and freshening the mouth.

Evening brushing, in the right order

• Between the teeth first: floss or interdental brushes reach the spaces a toothbrush cannot.
• Then brush: about two minutes, with a soft brush and a small amount of toothpaste, covering every surface.
• Then spit, without swallowing the toothpaste.
• Finally, no more snacking until the next morning – the perfect time to enjoy that minty freshness.

Precautions

Using it well. Toothpaste is spat out, not swallowed. For children, use a small amount, under adult supervision, with a toothpaste suited to their age – feel free to ask us for advice.
