What the product sheet says

According to the product sheet (see the documentation tab), this toothpaste is made with green illite clay, described as rich in trace elements. It is delicately flavoured with eucalyptus essences and gives a lively feeling of freshness. It comes in a 75 ml tube, with the word "bio" (organic) in its name.

Eucalyptus in a few words

The genus Eucalyptus includes several hundred tree species, almost all native to Australia, where they make up much of the forest. Their leaves are rich in essence and give off a powerful scent as soon as they are crushed. Several species are now grown elsewhere in the world, notably for their essence.

And the green clay?

Mineral and extremely fine, green illite clay is a classic of natural cosmetics. Argiletz, for whom it is the signature ingredient, uses it as the base for several of its toothpastes.

Gentle mint or lively eucalyptus?

Your toothbrush deserves attention too

• Rinse it well after each use to remove any leftover toothpaste.
• Let it dry head up, in the open air, rather than damp in a closed case.
• Keep the heads apart in the family toothbrush holder.
• Do not share it, even within the family.
• Replace it when the bristles splay, usually about every three months, and after an illness if your dentist advises it.

Precautions

A useful reminder. Spit out toothpaste after use; do not swallow it. For children, use a toothpaste suited to their age, in a small amount and under adult supervision. Avoid contact with the eyes. If your mouth reacts to a flavour that is too intense (tingling, discomfort), try a milder one and talk to your dentist if it persists – they remain the person to ask about anything concerning your teeth and gums.
