Argiletz green clay paste 400 g: the large size for body care

A face mask needs no more than a hazelnut-sized dab of clay. But as soon as you want to care for your back, shoulders or legs, the quantities change scale, and mixing a big bowl of powder and water quickly becomes a chore. That is where green clay paste in a large size really comes into its own.

What is Argiletz green clay paste?

Clay paste is clay that has already been hydrated and comes at a ready-to-spread consistency. It saves you measuring water and waiting, as you would with powdered or granulated clay.

According to the product sheet, this is a green illite clay paste, carefully selected, that is suited to all your uses and very pleasant to work with. We stock it here in a 400 g size, suited to regular care or larger areas.

How to use it

As a body mask

• Take a lukewarm shower and pat your skin dry without rubbing.
• With a clean spatula, take out the amount you need and put it in a bowl.
• Spread the paste evenly over the chosen area: upper back, shoulders, décolleté, legs. For the back, a helping hand is welcome.
• Leave for a few minutes, lying on an old towel, moistening the clay if it starts to dry.
• Rinse off in the shower with lukewarm water, then apply a body lotion or oil.

What about the face?

The same paste is also suitable for the face, in a thin layer and avoiding the eyes and lips. If you use it mainly on your face, the 150 g size will probably be more practical.

Keeping a large pack in good condition

• Always use a clean, dry spatula, never your fingers, so no impurities get into the pack.
• Close it carefully after each use: left open, the paste eventually dries out.
• If the surface has hardened slightly, add a few drops of clean water and stir before taking some out.
• Store the pack somewhere at room temperature.

Precautions

For the whole household, with care. For external use only. Test it on a small area before the first treatment. Avoid the eyes and mucous membranes. As Argiletz points out for its green clay, never apply it to an open wound. For a child, during pregnancy or if your skin is very reactive, ask for advice before use. Do not rinse large amounts of clay down the sink, and keep the pack out of the reach of children.
