Natur'mel night cream: an evening ritual for mature skin

In the evening, once the day is done, your face finally gets some peace: no more make-up, no wind, no dry office air. Many people use this moment for richer care, applied without rushing. What is Natur'mel night cream?

According to the product sheet, it is an intensive night-time care for mature skin in need of comfort. The formula is enriched with plant oils; the sheet states that it nourishes and revitalises the skin during sleep. It can be used on its own or together with a suitable hydrosol.

A hydrosol, also known as floral water, is the aromatic water collected during the steam distillation of plants. Much gentler than an essential oil, it is used like a toner – on a cotton pad or as a mist – to prepare the skin before the cream. Our druggist recommends Natur'mel cream as part of an evening face routine, to nourish and protect the skin overnight.

How to use it

• Cleanse: remove your make-up and wash your face with a gentle product, then pat it dry without rubbing.
• Prepare (optional): sweep a cotton pad soaked in hydrosol over your face and neck, or mist it from a distance with your eyes closed.
• Apply: take a small amount of cream, warm it for a few seconds between your fingers, then dot it onto your forehead, cheeks, chin and neck.
• Massage: smooth it from the centre of your face outwards with light, upward strokes, including the neck.
• Let it absorb for a few minutes before your head touches the pillow.

Turning care into relaxation

A few slow breaths during the massage, soft lighting, screens put away a little before bed: small touches like these turn a routine step into a real break. Rich textures go a long way, so start with a little – you can always add more.

Precautions

Using it well. For external use only. Before the first application, test the cream on a small area, such as the crook of your elbow or under your jawline, and wait 24 hours. Avoid direct contact with the eyes. If you notice redness or discomfort, stop using it and ask for advice. If you are undergoing dermatological treatment or have very reactive skin, talk to a professional before adding a new product. Close the jar tightly after use and keep it away from heat and out of the reach of children.
