Argiletz red clay mask: a healthy glow for dry skin
Clay for dry skin? Yes, as long as you choose the right one. Recommended for dry skin, the Argiletz red clay mask cleanses gently and brings back a healthy-looking glow.

Clay is so often linked with oily skin that people with dry skin tend to steer clear, fearing that tight feeling. That is a shame: not all clays are alike, and some are chosen precisely for their gentleness. The Argiletz red clay mask is one of them, with a pleasant healthy-glow effect as a bonus.
What is red clay?
Its warm, terracotta-like shade comes from its iron oxide content. Together with white clay, it is also what pink clay is made from. In cosmetics, it is used above all as a face mask.
According to the product sheet, red clay rebalances the skin and enhances its radiance. This mask cleanses the face gently, supplies the epidermis with minerals and trace elements and is recommended for dry skin. It comes in a 100 g size.
Our druggist recommends it as a face mask for cosmetic care and a healthy-looking complexion.
How to use it
Step by step
- Cleanse your skin with a mild product that does not strip it, then dry it.
- Get the mask ready following the directions on the pack.
- Apply a thick layer, which dries more slowly than a thin one, keeping away from the eye area and lips.
- Leave it on for just a few minutes and moisten it if it starts to feel tight: dry skin does not like clay to harden.
- Rinse with lukewarm water, never hot, and pat dry.
- Straight away, apply a nourishing cream or a few drops of vegetable oil to the still slightly damp skin.
Three tips for dry skin
- Space out your masks: once a week at most, or every two weeks in winter.
- Choose the evening, so your skin has the whole night with its cream.
- If your mask is mixed from a powder, you can replace the water with a gentle floral water.
Mask time is also a welcome break: use those few minutes to switch off, away from screens.
Precautions
Before the first time. For external use only. Test the mask on a small area of skin and see how it responds. Avoid the eyes; if contact occurs, rinse with clean water. Do not apply to broken, irritated or freshly sun-exposed skin. Red clay can slightly stain pale towels: rinse well and use a dark cloth. Keep the packaging closed and out of the reach of children.
